Â It would be a shame to stop all the more sensible posters from actually creating polls just because some take advantage of it. Â From what I know about phpBB the stupid posts, polls and people are easily deleted and by those with the 'power'. Ok this examples perhaps not the best to judge by and I suspect that someone unintentionally clicked on the poll which is easy enough to do; I've done the same myself in the past. Â The same argument was used on the other board for not allowing images. There one poster claimed that all the sites that allowed images were just full of porn but that's never been my experience and unless someone can tell me otherwise, it's certainly not been a problem here. Â I don?t always agree with the views of certain posters but at the end of the day, this is a discussion forum and everyone has the right to express themselves. Choosing to automatically blank someone because they have differing views just doesn?t seem right to me but over there it seemed my opinion on this wasn?t shared by many others. Â I?d like to think that this new board will provide the facilities that we had with the old one and not to go down the same lines as the Guardian with it?s OTT restrictions.
