Would you like a picture hosting on the forum?

Recommended Posts

I think it looks so much better when someone has an image with their profile.

If you want us to sort it for you send us a small quare image of yourself ideally 8ox80 pixels and we will host it for you if you can't work out how to do it.

I will need your profile name as well.

Just email the image to me at garys@warrington-worldwide.co.uk

That's a really good idea Gary :D

I'll opt out of having an actual photo of me on here though as it would scare people

there will be posters rocking back and forth in the corner of their rooms at the mere thought of casting off their cloak of anonimity, that may make them accountable for their utterings :D

I suppose its quite nice to have a little guess as to how you imagine folk may look, for instance I see Peter T as like this gent but with more of his own hair.

Am I even close anyone?

Peter once accosted me on a petrol station because he saw my Corsair and took a wild guess that there wouldn't be that many of them about!!

He did have his own hair PJ.... and teeth too if I remember!

Thanks for the offer Gary I have sent three examples for you. It used to be easy in the old forum format but I just can't seem to manage updating my picture profile anymore.

Go to your profile and use the upload avatar from your computer button - it has to be less than 80x80 pixels - it is easy - even Dizzy can manage it :wink:

with all these old photos now being used as avatars...... it looks like something from the Ancestry website.....(which will now no doubt be advertised in the banner at the top)
