Robbo
14 teams taking part, so who's going to win?
Dizzy
My son just said Australia so I voted on what he said. I've no idea myself. My other half just said Australia too... so that's an extra vote for them that can't be shown.

Robbo
I must be psychic, who would have thought Australia v New Zealand final, unless Australia don't turn up for the semi final, that is
Gary
Got to say it has been a long time since I felt so deflated and gutted at the end of a rugby match - England just 45 seconds from world cup final and then high tackle cost them game! GUTTED!
Davy51
Excellent game to watch & i thought Hill & Westwood had a great game & a great World Cup. I would go as far as to say that if McNamara had not taken them off near the end then England would have won. The team has looked much more solid in attack & defence when they have been on the pitch .
safeway60
George Burgess won't be forgiven for a long time for that daft smack in the chops he meted out with a minute to go...Nor did it help when Sinfield darted out of the defensive line leaving a huge gap in defence for the winning try. Almost won it but for these mistakes and England gave a far better account of themselves than I thought they would.

Your statement that, "England would have won" is garbage and overblown hero worship. ,
Davy51
Graham had a great game ,i don't remember saying otherwise. Hero worship doesn't come into i'm just giving my opinion on what i saw of the game ,an opinion to which i am entitled but which has obviously upset you enough to resort to insults ! safeway60
Graham was an 80 minutes player for St Helens week in week out so why was he brought off ?
artie
We need 2 good centres and a scrum half --and dont tell me Sam Tomkins is a top full back.
Wirewire
It was a great game of rugby league full of intensity, skill and drama. Shame we lost, but we can hold our heads high and bow out with dignity. We were never going to win the world cup with the backs we have but everyone played their part in one of the best matches I've ever seen. And that 1st NZ try........... Completely agree, sadly it's a long time since I went to watch a rugby league game, watched the match in TV, and thought the same as you.
