Often seen in Scotland, Sid, someone I know saw them from Berwick a couple of years ago, all depends on the conditions. Virtually guaranteed to see them from Iceland and the Scanda countries at the right time.

Heh, not quite that ancient yet, wolfman, though I do remember horsedrawn rag and bone men and trolley buses.

 

What's striking about that film though is the quality of colour, pioneering for the day.

That was nice and relaxing to watch Fugs and I am feeling very chilled now.

Your other post just remnded me abut the very tuneful chap who used to come down our avenue with his horse and cart when I was young.

 

Question........I can understrnd why he shouted 'rag' but why 'bone' ?  Anyone know ?
