Eagle
Hot Wheels on TV, get a car faster than the rest then bore the pants off everyone for a couple of hours; no thanks. If the drivers got out of their cars and ran round the track then it would be a sport.
Peter T
Eagle, NOT as boring as cricket or snooker.
Eagle
What do degrees of boring matter, we agree it is boring don't we?
wolfie
Formula 1 on a radio station Now that is boring
Mediaman
haha f1 isnt boring, it was always my dream to discuss it on the radio F1 is a spectle to be observed with great passion at times, great drivers and overtaking. On track action that leaves you coming back for more. Michael Schumacher was the best, but Hamilton and Button are brilliant also.
Eagle
Overtaking? I must have missed that bit.

AdrianR
Renault have beena bit naughty. Expect a fine, loss of points but they'll stay as F1 are keen to reatin teams although the newly owned BMW team are waiting in the wings to join in 2010
Peter T
I am surprised that Briatori did that. I wonder how that will affect his position at QPR?
AdrianR
I dont think it will make a difference. The proper person test only applies to new owners. Might even have more time for them now. Although cannot see that Loftus Road as the same appeal as Singapore, Brazil, Monte Carlo, Donnington Parkk (??) etc
Bazj
fastest car wins.... regardless of the driver.
Geoffrey Settle
Good news Lotus are to return to Formula 1 next season for the first time since 1994. The Malaysian-funded outfit have been awarded the final grid spot and join Campos GP, Manor and US F1 as one of four new teams for 2010

On track action that leaves you coming back for more. Michael Schumacher was the best, but Hamilton and Button are brilliant also. No, he wasn't. His career was fully entwined with Ross Brawn, who has overnight transformed perrenial underperformers into title contendors, quite possibly Ross Brawn is the greatest ever in F1. Ignoring the Brawn factor, even then best driver - Clark, Senna, Stewart, Fangio & Prost are all ahead of Schumi.
AdrianR
Renault kicked out but suspended for 2 years. Briatrore banned for life (ouch!) and Symonds for 5 years. Alonso innocent. Seems fair enough.
Geoffrey Settle
Congatulations Jenson 2009 World Champion - what a race - what a champion.
inky pete
Two different British drivers becoming World Champion in consectutive years driving for different, again British teams. That's not happened since the days of Jim Clark, Graham Hill and John Surteees. We're obviuosly still good at something.

Sue Durnim
Looking forward to the F1 Bahrain GP! With no refueling, I wonder who will be the first driver to run out of fuel? Drivers for the podium could be anyone, but Alonso, Massa and Schumacher seem a fair bet but don't know which order, and even maybe a lesser known driver who has never finished in the top three before, it's a new race with new rules, anything could happen and no doubt will. I think it will be down to tyre wear, driver skill and of course luck!
Eagle
My problem would be keeping awake. Why do people find Scalectrix interesting, it is just below Rugby Yawnion in the boredom stakes and just above synchronised knitting.
LymmParent
And what, pray tell, is dull about synchronised knitting? The incredible spectacle of sixteen pensioners producing eight identical pairs of blue bootees is second to nothing in the sporting world. The flying fingers, the glinting needles, the unspooling yarn hurtling through the air from chintz workbags. Have you no soul, man?
