Would just boil down to exibition matches. Players would be banned from National teams.  No doubt create a demand for the German ownership model, which is why the German clubs aren't signing up to it.

It is a better model, make the fans true stakeholders and not just turnstile fodder.

So why don't HMG just adopt the German model, instead of going through the pantomime of an Inquiry ?

Because that would require the appropriation and redistribution of private property other than in accordance with Company law. That is, it would be illegal and definitely contrary to the Human Rights Act now enshrined in English Law.

Wasn't a European league of top clubs talked about before the Premier League came into being ,with clubs having separate squads for Euro & domestic games ?
