Lt Kije
You have passed the practice citizenship test. Questions answered correctly: 18 out of 24 (75%) Time taken: 06 minutes 37 seconds Please select 'Test summary' for a full summary of your test and for advice on how to use the Official Handbook and Study Guide to prepare for the actual test. Please note: At the end of the actual test, your answers will not be displayed on screen. At the end of the test session the test supervisor will tell you whether you have passed or not. Bazj
I deliberately answered every question incorrectly. It said: "Congratulations, you obviously know as much about being a UK citizen as the bunch of foreigners we already have living here..... please join the queue for your free council house and benefits cheque. Well done!!"
Lt Kije
I sure it didn't Baz, how meny did you get right

Eagle
Baz, looking at some of the questions your wrong answers would actually be correct.
Lt Kije
No you do not need to spell, all you need is a bit of common sense.

observer
N.B. In the UK, we are not "citizens", but "subjects" of Her Majesty the Queen - every member of the Armed Forces (and MPs!) swears allegiance to the Queen, not to the Government of the day or indeed the people. An anachronistic arrangement no doubt, but it can provide comfort in "knowing your place" in the general scheme of things!
asperity
If you look in your passport (if you have a passport) where it says "Nationality" it states "British Citizen" not "British Subject".
Lt Kije
To be sure asp is right
observer
But under a Monarchy, we're all "subjects"; not citizens.
Peter T
Isn't that better than just being a number or do you have to take a subjective view?
observer
It can provide comfort to many, knowing their position in the food chain!
