Gary
I have reported on some tragedies in my life but this is right up there with them - absolutely devastating news. http://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/2016/02/14/viola-beach-band-tragically-killed-in-sweden/
P J
Tragic news Gary, such a shame. I was lucky enough to photograph and listen to these lads last year at Bank Park at the Warrington Festival. They were easily my favourite on the night . It really is a shocking loss of life and talent
Davy51
Don't know them or heard their music, but it is such a tragedy that five young men in their youthful prime have been lost this way. Death seems to be all around since New Year.

Dizzy
Front page news today and a nice gesture by the council. They are flying their flag at half mast this week, have opened a book of condolence and are also allowing flowers to be laid at the town hall. http://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/2016/02/15/warrington-set-to-remember-tragic-band-viola-beach/
P J
I see that Manchester City and Spurs fans showed their respects for the manager of the band who died and was a City fan, did Warrington Wolves do similar?
Dizzy
Not at yesterdays match I don't think PJ but I don't know anyone who went so not 100% sure. They [Warrington Wolves] did post on their own facebook page yesterday saying...."All at Warrington Wolves are deeply saddened to hear of the tragic news of the deaths of Viola Beach and their manager, our heartfelt sympathies go out to the boys and their families, we will be paying our respects to them at the Wakefield game on Friday 26th Feb"When questioned on their page about why waiting until the 26th they replied "The Club has close links to the band, it is felt it is all still raw at the moment and we do not want to rush a tribute, thank you." Sha
What the parents, family and friends of these young men must be going through must be horrific. Such a sad loss of young lives. There can't be anything worse in life than the loss of a child, I feel so sorry for their Mums and Dads.
Dizzy
Aww Viola Beach's song 'Swings & Waterslides' has got to number 1 in the iTunes Charts. I hope they get to number 1 in the normal top 40 and everywhere else too xhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3453121/Tragic-indie-band-Viola-Beach-reach-No1-iTunes-chart-tribute-campaign-launched-fans-manager-died-car-crash-weekend.html
