robocop
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_league/super_league/8797648.stm Can't even get the scoreline right - use an old photo of Myler from his Salford days and got the attendance wrong as well! What are we paying our licence fees for?
wolfie
According to the official Super League site the attendance was correct. As for the BBC - I would think only about 2p of the total UK TV licence income goes towards Rugby League coverage.

I have verified the attendance with the club and it was 10,577 which is what we have correctly reported. Knowing the BBc as I do they are probably using a student to do their coverage as they are not prepared to pay experienced freelancers a decent rates pay! Latchford Locks
Sporting Life have it wrong as well seems somebody issued a dud crowd figure to the press??
Gary
Sporting Life have it wrong as well seems somebody issued a dud crowd figure to the press?? No crowd figure was issued to the press - we hear what is announced like everybody else - and I clearly heard it as 10,
safeway56
I was there and was counting the crowd but lost count at 10,323. Definitely more than was stated from several sources. Some really soft tries let in yesterday and still think we're in for a fearful beating Friday.

Possibly because they all take the results off the P.A who got it wrong!
wolfie
Fair enough. And there's me thinking it could be a tax fiddle.
