Peter T
There seems to be some activity there. Didn't the council buy this bit back from the apartment developers? I was wondering whether they have sold it on to one of the Housing Associations?
Dizzy
No idea as I always thought it was part of the building development site for flats (sorry appartments) with the 'blue' dome and that they hadn't got round to finishing it all. There are a lot of incentives for developers to either start or complete their 'approved' plans at the moment so who knows eh. I guess if the developers aren't willing or able to comply with the obligations or conditions then maybe they could just sell or give the surplus land to the council for affordable housing etc. But then again can't see the developer/land owner in this case handing it over can you
