Gary
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12040_5374142,00.html Ronaldo on his way at long last - good riddance and plenty of money in the bank for United at ?80m. I'll have to find another points machine for my fantasy league team next season!

Gary
United are spending the money from Ronaldo on Torres & Gerrard. Â Money may mean a lot to most but Torres and Gerrard are totally committed scousers who would NEVER join Man Utd no matter how much money was dangled. Nice to see you haven't lost your sense of humour and appreciate real talent. Liverpool to win the Premier League next season - you heard it here first! Peter T
Â I thought Torres was a spaniard, not a scouser.
wolfie
I never rated Ronaldo  As for buying Tosser and Gerrard with the ?80m, what will United do with the ?60m change

Not from me you haven't - maybe once in the last three years but not each year. 2010 will be the year Liverpool regain their crown.

disgusted
?40 million for Torres has got the attention of Liverpool, can they refuse to double their money? If they are in anyway serious about the title, then yes they have to refuse. Selling, especially to Man U, is an admission that they are not in the title race.

Peter T
Giggs, scholes , Neville ect  Replacements in place for a couple of seasons now. Neville hasn't been missed all season. The biggest problem is whether Nani is going to perform to his ability. He might now that he is no longer under the shadow of Ronaldo. Eagle
It seems Liverpool are losing Alonso, Mascherano & Arbeloa and replacing them with Johnson. Arbeloa & Mascherano were a bit hit and miss but despite Gerrard getting all the publicity I think Alonso was the main man.
