Geoffrey Settle
Great news to see that Shelly has bought the kissing signs from Bank Quay for her lovely restaurant. I wonder if she will be trading kisses for charity? Kissing themed meals..........
Gary
I must say it is an excellent photo - I wonder who took it?
KeithR
Are they the original ones (10 years old) or the new ones that replaced them
DS
I understand the original signs from 10 years ago were never, in fact, erected and remain in the possession of Warrington Chamber of Commerce. The signs Shelly has bought were the ones erected by Virgin Trains earlier this year and are replicas of the originals. The "originals" are, of course, replicas of signs originally created in the US and given to Warrington 10 years ago. Shelly, as part of the package she bought on ebay, also has the original "Warrington Bank Quay" station sign which is probably of more interest to railway enthusiasts. Bazj
I missed the end of the auction by 2 minutes otherwise it would have been me stood there kissing that bloke..... my business partner wanted the "no kissing" one for over his front door to keep his wife away!!! Shelly was lucky and paid a lot less for them than we were hoping to!!
