fugtifino Posted July 3, 2016 Report Posted July 3, 2016 Police log fivefold rise in race-hate complaints since Brexit result https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jun/30/police-report-fivefold-increase-race-hate-crimes-since-brexit-result Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/26/spate-of-racist-attacks-blamed-on-brexit-vote/ Well, there's a surprise eh? Freeborn John Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Looks like the 52% of us who voted Leave are thoroughly bad lots. Best have a second referendum then... "Is that right yer a racist Father Ted? Have we all got to be racists then?" Quote
Bill Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Whichever side of the fence you sit on, you've got to admit that this vote and it's results have brought out the absolute worst in our society. Social media has allowed some idiots the perfect opportunity to spread a plague of resentment and bad feelings that serves only to further damage our society. It saddens me to see people who I thought of as as sensible and moderate friends now joining this petty game. Bill 2 Quote
observer Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Think you'll find that these alleged incidents are committed by Jeremy Kyle type chavs, who have been at it long before any mention of a referendum. We now have the press fanning the flames. But just looking at a couple of "incidents" - 1. The Manchester Tram one: 3 teenage chavs were coming out with foul language on the tram; causing one passenger to challenge them. The three neanderthals then turned on him with "racial" abuse; telling him to "get back to Africa". When later interviewed on TV, we discover that the subject of the "racial" abuse was white and a US citizen, who had lived in the UK for 18 years. 2. The pop singer who claimed she was racially abused by a policeman, following a car rage incident. When she later appeared on loose women, and was questioned more closely, her story began to change, to " it may have been a security officer", not a policeman. The incident wasn't reported to the Police, but plastered all over social media instead. So before we all go off on one, perhaps we can get a sense of perspective. There may be an argument of course for compulsory IQ tests for people; failiure resulting in mandatory euthanasia ! 2 Quote
Freeborn John Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 The media's stinky agenda was perfectly demonstrated when the Warrington Guardian ran a headline last week to the effect that no hate crimes had been reported in the county in the wake of the Brexit. No hate crimes, why write an article about it then? There were no outbreaks of cholera, plagues of locusts or cases of elephants falling from the skies either, yet local journos were strangely silent about these non events, what's all that about then? 1 Quote
P J Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 The bigoted and nationalist bilge pumped out for months by the right wing Brexit brigade seems to have convinced a lot of right wing idiots that their hatred and racism is now legitimate, it never was and should never be but there is an ugly undercurrent at the minute . All the really nice Brexiters will no doubt try to distance themselves from the perpetrators, some by the only way they know, by marking them out as different to themselves and therefore worthy of their disgust. I suppose if they are having a go at the "chavs" they are leaving the immigrants alone. Quote
P J Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 And as for the murder of those of a low IQ, perhaps you could run that by Mencap? Quote
observer Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Still stamping feet and spitting out dummy? Your luvvie mates are desperate to give a racist motive to Brexit, when the reality is simply that a majority of Brits (over 70% in recent poles), simply want an end to uncontrolled immigration, regardless of creed or colour - so not racist, just about numbers. Your shout down of "racism" just isn't working anymore, most folk now have the guts to stand up to your infantile chants, as indeed they did last Thursday !. btw. the reference to IQ tests was tongue in cheek - so relax. 1 Quote

You are in complete denial, as per if you don't believe that racially motivated attacks have increased because of the filth some of the right wingers spouted during the Brexit campaign, go and see for yourself, try a search engine. And even if your wish to see those with a low IQ put to death was tongue in cheek it is base and vile and a true measure of your worth as a person. Quote
Freeborn John Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Yes, that poster they put out of a stereotypical tattooed skinhead gesturing menacingly at a harmless Indian lady was a horrid thing that was bound to stir up racial tension. Oh, hang on, Remain put that one out. Quote

Freeborn John Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 No they didn't Oh, you little nit picker you, Operation Black Vote put it out as part of their Remain campaign then! Quote
observer Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 No denial, just good common sense, which we know eludes the luvvies. There is simply no correlation between alleged "attacks" and the referendum campaign; it went on before the referendum was even thought of - remember the monkey chants by the Neanderthals at footy matches? It's interesting also, that report levels have increased since the referendum, no doubt fostered by Remainians, who simply won't let go of the fact they were outvoted. Quote
P J Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 So reporting a hate crime is automatically proof that the victim voted to remain, the big broad bigots brush is out again. Racists have always been there but the rhetoric and result have given these scum a belief that their hatred is validated. If being disgusted by jokes about the state sponsored murder of people with learning difficulties makes me a luvvie then pass me a toga, it is better than your pointy hatted cloak. Quote

P J Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 The poster didn't promote either remain or leave only that all votes are worth the same. Quote
observer Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 So a tongue in cheek remark, now gets wrapped up in the discussion; desperation again. Those who are committing this alleged name calling are clearly of low mental capacity, and would be commiting such offence way before any thought of a referendum, and probably didn't even vote last Thursday anyway. So, put the dummy back in, and get over yourself - for God's sake. Quote
P J Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 So a tongue in cheek remark, now gets wrapped up in the discussion; If you didn't want it in the discussion why say it? To make yourself look tough online? A Moronic statement that deserves to be ridiculed. Quote
observer Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Errm no, it was a statement about the morons who are allegedly commiting these offences; that wouldn't even understand the first thing about the referendum debate. But also a rebuttal of the brainwashed morons who are desperately trying to link the gut feelings of over 70% of the UK population to the activities of such Neanderthals. Quote
Davy51 Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 I think it's a fair comment to say that most of Europe is racist to varying degrees otherwise these refugees would have been dealt with adequately at their first country of entry into the EU instead of being directed towards super tolerant Great Britain ,a land of milk & honey where benefits flow freely. 1 Quote

No, it was you being flippant about wishing that people of a lower IQ than you be murdered. At least it wouldn't be a large death toll. Quote
observer Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Seems your in a luvvie minority on this one too - so back to the dolls in the Wendy House, and dummies in ! 1 Quote
P J Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Seems your in a luvvie minority on this one too - so back to the dolls in the Wendy House, and dummies in ! grow up and if that is beyond you try something other than your only childish goto. Now what is "luvvie" about not liking a cretin making a gag about murdering people based on their IQ? What next kill them based on age, sex, colour, creed? Where does your bigotry end? Has it ANY bounds? Quote
