Is anybody there?

Recommended Posts

Seems scientists are talking about making contact with intelligent life forms elsewhere in the universe - good or bad idea?  If they are sufficiently advanced to receive and translate our signals, and have the capability of visiting us; wouldn't they view us as some primitive life form, ripe for exploitation?

Well, if all those conditions exist together, they may view some of us like that.

Haven't you got enough earth bound immigruntz to worry about though without having to think about any possible intergalactic kind?

If there's as much life out there as some suggest and we haven't been able to detect anything in 30 years of monitoring then maybe there's a good reason for it. :P

Scientist might better use their time trying to get in touch with intelligent life on this planet first. 8)
