Clouds, blue skies and others

Something rather uplifting about clouds and blue skies :D

I took some photos on Tuesday whilst walking the dog and the clouds were amazing (well I thought so anyway) so I thought I'd share my pics with you.

None have been edited or enhanced in any way... this is just how they were.

Is it just me or does the first one look like a giant fluffy rabbit

I must have pressed the button without realising but what's the chance of me ever doing that again and getting an unexpected picture like this (not edited I promise... it just happened by accident):lol:

Sorry, didn't see your post PJ we must have been typing at the same time.

I was wondering why you hadn't uploaded any photo's.

If you have no time to take anyI'm more than happy to take one of your posh cameras out with me :D:wink:

I'm bored of mine now

:shock: Oooh I see what you mean

Should I delete it.

Like I said I must have just 'pressed' by accident and that's what I found on my camera card when I uploaded my photos

Don't delete it, its a really good capture. I think its just that the 9/11 images are so powerfully burned in peoples minds that they are easily reminded of it.

You would lend me one of yours PJ  Gosh now there's an offer I may not be able to refuse, if nothing else it may prove that it is me and not my camera eh

My camera is good but I'm still not happy with the quality of indoor pics and I want an even bigger zoom (that's my nephews fault for getting a super duper camera for xmas though )

I have been experimenting with it though and took some of a squirrel up a tree in the church yard on the same day.

I flicked it from 'Auto' over to 'manual' (can't remember wether it was AV, TV pr P setting though) and I meddled a bit and the results were better.

Like you say I just need to learn and not blame the equipment all the time  It would help if the instruction book was a BOOKLET though and not something that I had to read and digest online

AUTO MODE

MANUAL MODE

Zoom on manula mode

Camera shake though as the squrrel was watching my dog ... my dog was watching the squirrel and to make it harder she was tied around my elbow

and a weird looking one of a bird and some others that I like (taken on AUTO)

Dizzy.... if PJ lends you a camera..... just check he has zipped up the bag it is in first!!

Once bitten mate. Ouch

Dizzy you don't need more "zoom" really unless you intend to specialise in wildlife or sports photography. The best zoom equipment is your legs to get you a bit closer to the subject.

Not too bad round here today Peter and no rain.... :P There was only about an hour of blue sky though and the rest was slightly overcast but still pleasant :D

Have you got your new camera with you or haven't you figured out how to use it yet :P

Took some of the heavy frost we had. Will put them up when time allows.
