Gary Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Strong squad http://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/articles/8478/1/Briers-back-for-Big-One/Page1.html Quote
CP Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 On paper we should win. However, Wigans new coach seems to be getting alot more out of his players than Smith is getting out of ours in terms of commitment, concentration and enthusiasm. Wigan go the extra mile why we just do enough. Attitude is key here. I expect a narrowish loss tbh. I'd love us to win but i just cant see it on current form & attitude. Quote
Wirewire Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 This is going to be a very tough test, but one that we are certainly capable of winning. I do think, however, the Wigan will just edge a close encounter Quote
Gary Posted July 15, 2010 Author Report Posted July 15, 2010 We are due a big performance from the team - and I think this could be the one. Warrington need a win to keep the season alive as far as challenging for top spot. Quote
CP Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 You are spot on Gary, we are due a massive performance from the lads in P&B. Especially after the disappointing stuff they have been serving up for the last month or so. Will we get it...who knows? Quote
Sheila_P Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 The butterflies are kicking in big-style now. I think we are going to win tonight!!! Quote

Gary Posted July 16, 2010 Author Report Posted July 16, 2010 We have got to win to silence our critics who say we can't beat the big teams on the big occasions! Quote
Peter T Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 i don't think any of you can have any complaints after that performance. Fantastic game. Quote
Sheila_P Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 YABADABADOOOOOO, the butterflies have it ))))) Quote

Sheila_P Posted July 16, 2010 Report Posted July 16, 2010 *Cough*, I was right too. Fab result! Quote
CP Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Good result but still room for improvement. Wigan were a few bodies short and seemed to be carrying a few injuries into the game. Im not getting too carried away... although the perfomances of everyone in the pack (apart from Carvell)...were awsome! Quote
Teessidewire Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Good result but still room for improvement. Wigan were a few bodies short and seemed to be carrying a few injuries into the game. Im not getting too carried away... although the perfomances of everyone in the pack (apart from Carvell)...were awsome! No mention of your 'I think we'e in for a fearful beating' comment. You can only play what's in front of you and there have been numerous times over the years when we have gone into games with injuries. Of course there's room for improvement. I'll bet that Garreth Carvell won't have another game like that this season. Some Wigan fans are complaing that they only played 2 props. They had another as 18th man so what and who they play is entirely down to them. Quote
CP Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Er I predicted a narrow loss. Glad i was wrong Quote
