Paul Kennedy
Had mine a couple of weeks ago. WBC made a great effort this time to get them out early given the problems last year. No doubt some will always get "lost in the post". Good news is that you don't need it to actually vote. There is a fault on the WBC website at the moment but when it is fixed you can use it to find your nearest polling station: http://www.warrington.gov.uk/Councilanddemocracy/Councillorsdemocracyandelections/elections/Nearest_Polling_Stations.aspx

Paul Kennedy
My mother in law who lives in Appleton has had her postal ballot already, arrived a couple of days ago. Postal vote opening commences today at the Town Hall....indeed some have already been returned.
observer
...... and you wouldn't believe how many, can't follow a simple set of instructions - thus making their votes void!
Peter T
Perhaps that is because the info gets more and more complicated by a load of waffle. It seems possible these days, to interpret the same thing in two different ways.
Bazj
...... and you wouldn't believe how many, can't follow a simple set of instructions - thus making their votes void! Ahhhh so that's what happened!!
Bill
I reckon we'll be hearing more the term "void" in these forthcomming elections, but it'll have nothing to do with spoilt papers. Bill
observer
Perhaps a simple requirement to put an X on a ballot paper, place it in a brown envelope, then sign and DOB the cover note and put it in a white envelope, with the address showing in the window; is too complex a task nowadays - suppose a good way to eliminate "the thick" votes?!
