Cas have sacked Thompson but Hull KR have done bugger all to Cockayne. It seems that to be sent down these days you have to kill somebody...minimum. If Hull KR don't give Cockayne the bullet the RFL will have to do it for them. The RFL should insist that he is kicked out of the game and if HKR fail to comply they should have their fixtures suspended for retaining the services of a drunken thug. Remember that's how Gary Newlove was murdered. Don't want to sound like an old fogey but in *my day* fights used to break out on occasion and usually it would be a one on one using fists only. When the opponent was on the floor that was the sign the fight was over and the victor declared. Those involved wouldn't resort to kicking anybody who was lying on the floor. These are supposedly fine tuned athletes - any boxer or judo sports person would be in jail and the key thrown away by now - no excuse.
