I think they genuinely try their best, it's not the effort but the gulf in class of the players. Last night it was men playing against boys, Catalans were just too strong for them. Ground was being made too easily up the middle and when they put the ball out wide key players were out of position, Kev Penny made to look daft once again by Matt King going walkabout, how this chap gained international honours for the Oz national team remains a mystery. Monaghan again demonstrated that he's incapable of grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck and having any great influence. We'll have to see what Jimmy Lowes can do with the players which will be available to him next season the only new signings if the rumours are correct will be Mick Higham plus another forward.
