The front showed an airliner taking of and a sports car zooming off into the sunset. The caption read “You’ve reached that age where you’re really going places” Inside though was a signpost pointing to Toilets, Chemist, Doctor, and Clinic. We’ll be going on the Thursday night though as there’s more chance for us oldies to find somewhere to sit down. ☹ It’s a shame we don’t have more on here as it used to be good meeting fellow posters for a face to face. Evil Sid Posted October 8, 2022 Report Share Posted October 8, 2022 many happy returns bill your birthday is close to mine by the sound of it (end of September) would that i could get to the octoberfest but with one thing and another it is not to be. i too enjoyed meeting and putting faces to the names of the posters on here. oh well who knows maybe the next one if i jcan get trained up to drinking alcohol in quantities of more than half a pint without falling down drunk. ninearches Posted October 8, 2022 Report Share Posted October 8, 2022 Luckily, Bill i was able to take advantage of the verse on your card & went to Benidorm for 10 days & hire a mobility scooter for some of the time which really enabled us to go places.
