Patel needs to identify every legal impediment to a pick up and return policy, and scrap it, including any international HR treaties. Then she needs to identify the origins of each and every migrant. Now given most have disposed of their passports and won't disclose their origins; I'm sure the HO has access to interpreters who could identify an accent to within 50 miles of it's source. The money could be used to fund a series of spotter stations along the coast like the ones used during the war to detect enemy fleets and aircraft. Any that are collected should then be put on a cruise liner and when it is full shipped off to some exotic location. Observer II Posted July 29, 2021 Author Report Share Posted July 29, 2021 It's getting worse - the EU Regional Development Fund has allocated over £50million to the UK as post covid relief, BUT a condition of the funding is that EU flags must be flown in every authority area where the money is used. As noted in the Referendum debate, EU money never existed, it was OUR money recycled, less their take, and that we were a major net contributor in any case. Now this nonsense occurs in the wake of a £56billion demand on the UK, by the EU, as a severance package for Brexit. Well it's not hard, even for Boris to work out, deduct the £50million from the £50billion and call it quits, thus no EU flags at all; OR, better still just tell them to sod off, pay them nothing and finally get them to understand that we are an Independent Nation, totally separate from the EU. 😠 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
