Gary
Having watched the highlights of the Wolves v Giants game I think it is very clear the players still want to play for Cull. It would have been so easy to have lost at 22-6 down at half time - but they staged one of the greatest come backs of all time. I hope they can carry the second half form into the game at St Helens. Latchford Locks
Yep a great comeback but.......... just maybe... we should not have been in that position in the first place? A massive improvement is needed next week especially after the way Long and Co. played today.
Eagle
That's the trouble with great comebacks, they tend to take the mind off the abysmal performances that made them necessary. Using Gary's logic, they didn't want to play for Cull in the first half.
safeway56
Scruffy untidy tries stemming from Huddersfield's alarming mistakes. Only Lee Briers' flash of individual brilliance was worthy of any mention. I'd have been more impressed had the tries come from sweeping 6 man moves from deep within our own half in the manner of St Helens. A scrambled victory against one of the the games' least impressive teams doesn't make everything in the garden rosy, far from it. The usual humiliation awaits at Knowsley Road in the CC. No as Lee Briers admitted they didn't follow the coaches game plan - they did in the second half and won the game from a near impossible position! Doesn't matter how good you are as a coach if the players don't perform.

True on both counts - the question is why aren't our international players capable of following a game plan from the start, and if they're not following the plan why do we have to wait for half time to correct it - surely a message should have gone out via a water carrier to the captain spelling out the errors of their ways! That being said, it was a fantastic fightback and should leave us in a good frame of mind for the cup game.
