little fella
Carry on nurse, with Sid James and Hatty Jakes. They are really old films but never age. Great fun.
Jerry
Wasn't Carry On Doctor the first - with Dirk Bogarde? I enjoyed that kind of humour.

asperity
I think the early ones were best even though they seemed amateurish compared with the later ones. Maybe its my age (17)

big ste
the last one, Carry On Columbus, was a bit pants. althought it did have Rik Mayall, Alexei Sayle and Nigel Planner in it. Maybe they could have carried on the films, with the rest being too old.
tonymaillman
I didn't like Carry on Columbus at all either
Mary
I think after a while the comedy of a piece becomes bland - that is the problem with series films.

riojack
I adore the Carry Ons. It's such a shame that they're nearly all the stars have gone now. Kenneth, Sid, Hattie, Charlie, Joan, Peter Butterworth, Kenneth Connor, and a lot more - all gone. I just hope they dont make another one after the disaster that was Carry On Columbus. Let's not keep flogging that old dead horse. I loved them, but let's call it a day. Favourite - hard to say, but I do love 'Abroad' for some reason. If you'd like to have a look at my Carry On blog then please do. It's www.matron-take-them-away.blogspot.com I look forward to my next posting here.
