P J
'You builds them up and then you knocks them down' is a tried and tested media tactic, it looks like old hatchet face has got the people who matter in her pocket. I never built her up, seems no one ever has, until she stood for Brexit. Lying on your CV when applying for a job sort of gives the game away. At the end of the day some crud will be voted in as Tory leader.
Freeborn John
I never built her up, seems no one ever has, until she stood for Brexit. Lying on your CV when applying for a job sort of gives the game away. At the end of the day some crud will be voted in as Tory leader. Whichever 'Crud' will be voted in as Tory leader, at least it won't be on the whim of any entryist soap dodger who can raise £3. Unlike the scarecrow. P J
no it will be on the whim of a few Tory faithful, a table at which you will never be welcome.
observer
Be interesting to see how Tory MPs react to a Leader elected by their Party Membership; I doubt it will be similar to the scum that are attempting to remove Corbyn. P J
Self evident, if you have a clue - don't you watch the news? . What on that new fangled tellingvision? That is the creation of the devil and must be avoided, it will never catch on nor replace the Town crier for up to date news broadcasts. fugtifino
Self evident, if you have a clue - don't you watch the news? Well, that's just the thing, it isn't. Be interesting to see how Tory MPs react to a Leader elected by their Party Membership; I doubt it will be similar to the scum that are attempting to remove Corbyn. You see, I never considered you to be a fan of Corbyn, but if you regard those who are trying to remove him as scum, then that suggests that you are a supporter. Wouldn't he qualify as one of your luvvies though? And, if he does, how can you support him? Or don't you? Or, are those scum trying to get him moved on luvvies? Obs is a more accurate shorthand for obfuscatory than observer. I'm sure you do this on purpose, if nobody knows where you stand on anything (apart from immigration, obviously), then you can never be wrong, can you? observer
One doesn't have to be a fan of Corbyn; to observe the fact that, having been elected by the vast majority of LP members; attempts are being made at a coup to remove him as Leader, outside LP rules, by MPs who have no mandate, other than their own ambitions. If Jezz wasn't so luvvie; he'd now purge the Party of these creatures, by holding mandatory re-selections and letting ordinary Party Members decide their future. No doubt the self seekers will jump into the arms of the LibDems to form a soft centre, to the political spectrum.

Milky
two women for PM, what is the world coming to Apparently, Mrs Leadsom has had a 25 year career in big business before coming to parliament 6 years ago & is highly regarded. by her colleagues. yes in a bank, that is no different then a career in politics. Why are so many of our politicians either ex lawyers or ex bankers? Now if we had some one who built up a business from nothing, who ran a multi million pound competitive business, that is the type of person we need, some one like Donald Trump maybe
P J
It is still less than a hundred years since women got the right to vote and even then they had to be over 30 and have a 'property qualification' (in other words, be middle class). This Country's next Prime Minister will be a woman, the second in fact. Both represent what less than a Century ago could be called an oppressed group - yet they both oppose gay marriage. Go figure. Must be terrible to try to debate when your clueless ! More plonkerism when totally shown up. You brought up the digression yet your first post in your own topic was a digression. Listen carefully, Jeremy Corbyn has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with who will be the next Tory leader. Try to get out more it may broaden your mind although I doubt it. observer
Corbyn is still an MP; Farage isn't an MP. So nothing to do with the posts you applied it to. And, if you go back to the first post on the topic, you'll find (eureka) reference to Corbyn - thicko.
