Evil Sid
Seems it is cold enough now for the council to call out the gritters. so all you gritter spotters get ready they will be out later tonight when the snow starts to fall.
P J
I've seen them a few times this year Sid, they are too regular to be interesting around here
Gary
We don't see them over the other side of the ship canal very often!!! The weather forecast is bound to be wrong again any way!!!
algy
I had occasion to be driving in the Vale Royal area this afternoon and even the country lanes have been gritted.
P J
Gary, when the subject of gritters came up at the end of December a few folk were claiming that the gritters had not been out. I contacted the council through Facebook and they said that all major routes had been gritted throughout the cold snap. WWW could contact the Council and see who is telling the truth? Put an intrepid reporter on the case and if none are available you can do it
Bazj
According to the forecast (and my iPhone weather app) we were supposed to get snow from about 10 last night.... imagine my disappointment when I woke up and the ground is only "slightly damp" with not a snowflake in sight...... and the weather forecast has changed and no mention of snow for us anywhere
Evil Sid
it did snow last night, for about ten minutes some very light flakes fell. was about eight o clock. i happened to be looking out the window and noticed it. was also very relieved this morning to find no snow just a grey damp morning with the odd spot of rain.
