Time for an Oath of Allegience?

The two so-called jihadists who have butchered a UK soldier in Woolwich; were shown waving their cleavers and saying that UK soldiers should "leave OUR lands". So clearly these brainwashed thickos, don't view the UK as "our land". So is it time that every Muslim in the UK (and certainly the 2,000 or so currently under special branch surveillance), were required to swear an oath of alliance to the UK, upon the Koran? Any who fail to do so, could then be deported asap to "their lands"?

What's the betting that our glorious government will spend about 5 seconds denouncing the attack and then ramble on about 5 minutes lecturing us on how this is just an isolated event that doesn't represent the majority of peaceful muslims

These "dipsticks" can be brought into the open by challenging their extreme beliefs; hence the purpose of an oath on their sacred book. According to an ex-security chief on TV tonight, there are currently around 2,000 suspects under surveillance. So they could start with them.

Not a good time for politicians, They are dammed if they say nothing and dammed if they do, i do agree about them spouting crap to anyone who will listen, in a vain attempt not to look inept.

Ps

Feel very sad for the man that died and his family, no need to show the video on tv.

Swearing on oath does nothing, it's taken in court by witnesses and criminals alike, the oath is repeatedly broken at will so what is the point, it is only a tradition passed down from biblical times:-

Matthew 5:33-37

“Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’ But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.

First, for the sake of the record and before anyone thinks to ask, I condemn the actions of the two so called muslim in Woolwich yesterday. They were not representing Allah, myself, or the many millions of other decent, law abiding muslims and, in fact will be condemned to hell by many muslims.

Having said that, how would you deport the many muslims born and bred in the uk? Judging by his voice and command of the english language, I think it is obvious to anyone that the man with the blood on his hands who did the talking on the video was London born and bred so he is a british citizen. Where would you deport him to....?  Birmingham perhaps?

Hasn't this method of swearing an oath of allegiance been used at numerous times throughout history such as in Tudor England & during the Great Inquisition & has been said does it really work ? The bloke with the knife ,like Cleo said ,seemed to have a local accent. What is alarming though is that various groups are now attacking mosques & the last thing we need is an escalation of this crisis.

The bloke with the knife, used the term "our lands"; so the first thing to establish with these pin heads, is just what and where "our lands" are, if they clearly aren't referring to the UK. So whether born here or not, they clearly hold no allegiance to the UK, an oath would merely confirm this; and place them on the export market. Oaths of allegiance are still used in the USA and when joining our Armed Forces, so not exactly a new concept. Of course there is a problem as to which "Muslim" Countries would want these demics and of course the dead hand of the ECHR.

Tomorrow is the day you need to watch and hold your breath. Hope that the hotheads do nothing and refrain from attacking the mosques during Friday prayers. I think you may find heavy police presence around the mosques in the uk tomorrow. If the mosques are attacked all hell will break out in the uk and you may find terrorism has become a reality. Pray for a peacefull passing of the day.
