Cleopatra
Pope Benedict XVI resigned yesterday, saying that due to his age he no longer had the strength to continue. Just a few hours later a bolt of lightening hit the dome of St Peter's Basilica. Now I know it was pure coincidence but I'm pretty sure thousands of other people would say it was a sign of God's wrath.
algy
How are you so certain that it is "pure coincidence" Cleo and why would God be angry at the Popes resignation, surely he would be pleased that the pontiff should go if he is not up to the job, for what ever reason!. Evil Sid
Before the religious back biting starts I would just like to ask a simple question. Which God are we on about this time?
Cleopatra
Well I answered your question Sid but when attempting to post my laptop threw a wobbler. Just pure coincidence probably but I aint going to tempt providence.
Davy51
Maybe the bolt of lightning was a redundancy package of biblical proportions.
