observer
Just a few observations on this: seems they've spent over $6billion between them, money I'm sure would help the victims of Hurricane Sandy, who are naturally looking to "big Government" to help them; but perhaps as Romney would suggest, they need to be self reliant. Noticed also, that in this politically polarised Country, the division between the States seems to reflect the division during the US civil war. Davy51
The people shown on tv seem to have a more passionate approach to these elections than us British where we are the picture of indifference at election time.Is there usually a bigger percentage turn out at US elections ? Peter T
They get excited about turkeys as well. Do you really want all the razzamatazz in this country. To see political leaders arguing and name calling is so embarrassing. It's bad enough in Question Time. Is it any wonder people are turned off politics? observer
Would you want our political parties to get further into hock with major lobby groups by taking donations to fund elections that mean wall to wall slagging off ads on TV. This lot cost $6billion, now perhaps, through the tune, we'll discover who was paying the piper?
