algy
Algy and Gary... If I ever meet you rest assured that I have a big slap waiting for the pair of you. Actually thinking about that I did actually meet you once Gary, so maybe I should have slapped you then and there infront of all the kids, the vicars and other churchgoers. That could have been my one and only claim to local fame An opportunity missed is an opportunitly lost... unless you believe in karma of course We may have passed in Greenall's Avenue yesterday, did you observe an old man with a walking stick, false beard and dark glasses, wearing a long brown coat, carrying a camera and looking very furtive, well, that was the Mrs I was sat in the car waiting for her to take the photos.

observer
Prog on tonight about "the real war horse" - 250,000 horses were killed in WW1; of the survivors, about 80,000 were slaughtered to provide food for French peasants and German POWs - so no thanks there. Dizzy
I recorded it as the 'others' were watching something else but I'll make sure I get my tissues out before hand now after reading that. Infact not sure I really want to watch it now
