observer
- to watch the Olympics?
Evil Sid
don't watch it when it is on telly for "free" so not much chance of me paying for a ticket to watch it.
Peter T
Methinks that the pricing will leave half empty stadiums and the games will prove to be a financial disaster. And NO, I won't be going. But might watch some of the athletics on TV. (Although sadly the Commonwealth games passed by without me realising.) Dizzy
No I wont be buying a ticket. Probably wouldn't even if it was being held round here although I'll probably watch bits of it on the TV. I missed the commonwealth games too Peter

asperity
We are going to end up paying for it without having to pay for a ticket as well.
Dizzy
Perhaps as compensation for us having to pay for it all they should give us all free tickets so we can sell them to the highest overseas bidders on ebay Knowing what this countries like at organising things though it will probably a complete flop with half the facilities still only half built as the athletes take to their marks ... 'no sir its not scaffolding it's a new more adventurous type of hurdle where you still have to have the ability to jump also to duck at the same time and yes it is standard practice to have them on the outer walls of the stadium rather that on a running track. Surely your athlete's arent still using the old type and methods .....'

AdrianR
I will and i'm down on the list for the ballot. Once in a lifetime experience so no question for me. Seeing live sport far outweighs watching it on the telly.
