Excellent game and team performance all round. We kept Lancaster out in the 1st half when they ought to have gone in with at least something to their credit. Superb goalkeeping, stout defending and a shade of good fortune kept us in it. The second half was far more open and we played some sublime football at times. Once two up maybe the hosts allowed us the space to play in as they had to go for it. I think the missed penalty ultimately broke them although they never gave up trying. What a great save Paul Pritchard made though. In the end we could have had 6 or 7, but hey 4-0 away from home against one of the league's potentially stronger sides. Who wouldn't have snatched the preverbial hand off before the game started for that result?

Focus now turns to th FA Cup. Parkgate have been in good form too. It promises to be be intruiging and hopefuully an entertaining tie. I am looking forward to it.

Fantastic performance and hopefully the start of very special times for Warrington Town.

Hopefully the hard work put in by the directors and Joey and the team and all the volunteers and fans is now starting to pay off.

If they play like they did in the second half T0wn are capable of beating any team in our league and quite a few above!

Great performance last night, from everyone in a red shirt, quality across the board. The front two thriving on excellent service from Farrelly and Gahgan. Quality hat trick from Evo. Great singing from the Barmy Army, now we have to back it up on Saturday at Parkgate in the cup.

Proud to be Town

Pm

First half played some good passing football however final pass was often overhit. Defensively look like conceeding which is worrying.

My concern is that our midfield although good players don't have the physical presence to match bigger stronger teams, missed Teague in that Department.

2nd half they broke at pace and always looked dangerous, the penalty could have brought us back into the game but the keeper saved it with his knees, after that it wasn't going to happen.

The 4th goal was however deflected in by a guy who was offside but at that stage it didn't really matter we' already lost.

They looked a decent side once they'd taken the lead.

last statement does the team justice onwards and upwards

Actually no, he made no contact with ball at all or he'd have been credited with the goal. No idea if he was in an offside position or not, but the ref spoke to his assistant and all was well

and we should have had a penalty and they cleared one off the line in the last couple of minutes.

If the game on gone on another 10 minutes it would have been 7 or 8 nil!

I think this Warrington team has the best fitness levels I have seen.

It was great to see Farrelly last the full 90 as well.
