observer
Well no one doubts that New Lab will get a beating at the next election, but the smart betting was on a hung parliament. Now, in typical self destustrive manner, some Blairite no-marks, with self seeking agendas, have come out of the woodwork to challenge Brown for the Leadership, and instead of a Tory V Lab electoral campaign, NuLab will waste their efforts in contemplating their navel. Seems the battle of egos takes priority over the needs of the Nation.
Bazj
Hopefully it does Obs, and hopefully it will stick the final nail into the coffin (if only it were true) of our slack jawed one eyed leader; soon to be confined to the dustbin of history along with his New Labour experiment
Lt Kije
And if you vote Tory your going to get a Blair clone
observer
Whilst I don't carry a torch for Gordy, he's the only one out of the whole nest of rats with the gravitas to be PM - which probably sums up the obsequious and sycophantic nature of career politics. Well, it seems this latest attempted coup by the Bliarites has fizzled out - just like their occupancy of marginal seats in May!
Paul Kennedy
Seems the battle of egos takes priority over the needs of the Nation. Â Think it always does doesn't it Observer.
observer
Correct Paul: priorities being self, Party then Country - in that order. But the sad thing is, that the spineless no-marks behind these coups, are generally not fit or capable of donning the mantle of those they try to bring down. Paul Kennedy
And one of them is retiring at the next election, in order I guess, to concentrate on her lucrative directorships that she has been acquiring since returning to the back benches....and the other one should be kicked out by his local association. observer
Well it's apparent from the antics of these Bliarites, that they would sooner see a Tory majority at the next election just to spite Gordy; which explains all you need to know about their politics. Bazj
It is blatently obvious what they will say......... they will say that the Nu Labour experiment hasn't worked (even though that has had them in power for 13 years don't forget.........hmmm how could we??) and that they are now reverting back to Old Labour (which barely managed to get them elected during the previous 35 years or more)  Gordon Brown will be dropped as leader so he can go off and have another cry somewhere and all of the Nu Labour people that are left will be consigned to the back benches forever or until they decide to retire  Either way, lets just hope they stay in opposition for a very very long time! observer
Alas the runes don't point to that Baz; a fickle and hedonistic public simply won't vote for "austerity"; which probably indicates a hung, indecisive parliament,
Dizzy
If it does result in a hung parliament will it be televised for us all to watch or are they not allowed to show things like that on the TV
