Observer II
That MP who's just been kicked out of the Tory Party (Andrew Brigeton ?), for making allegations in relation to the covid vaccine. Can't say I payed much attention to him and there was no clarity in the MSM; but Jeff Taylor has now picked up on it and is quoting ONS figures that suggest a spike in the death rate, all related to heart problems, and inquiries into the matter are being stonewalled by the powers that be. Could it be, that the covid vaccine is indeed unsafe and the matter is being covered up to save the politicians ? 💀
Evil Sid
well it could be that obs. we all know about the cover up of the UFO landings on the pier in Wigan.....🕵️♂️ What you need to ask is not if it true or not but what is it diverting attention from that is more damaging to the gov?..... Confused52
I doubt it. It seems much more likely that ceasing normal primary care meant that more heart problems went undiagnosed leading to death. The Cancer surge will come later if that is the case. Protecting the NHS is what killed the public. Why did the NHS need protecting though, was it because the specialists had reduced the size of buildings and put beds closer together because of a decreased attention to infection control - which then meant the maximum capacity in a pandemic was reduced. The causes were not to be found during the pandemic but before it and were endemic to the organisation of the NHS. (P.S. That does not mean it is the Government's fault as NHS Management and Government are not one and the same thing)
Observer II
Well, it seems the NHS is on it's last legs, despite all the funding it gets. The latest anecdote I've received, is of a 80yo woman diabetic, who was on insulin. Just been admitted and looking terminal, when her husband asked "was she being given insulin", the Doctor said it wasn't on her records, her husband pressed them on this and they admitted that they had no insulin in the Hospital. Fortunately, the Husband brought her prescription medicines in. But it seems as if all our public institutions, the glue of our society, are in fail mode these days. Not one politician inspires any confidence it will be corrected, they haven't even started the covid inquiry yet. 😠
Confused52
Your example is not the only one. I have heard of people in hospital being fed and told it won't matter if they haven't had their insulin - it will do later, The lack of competence in the NHS is staggering and the organisation of the service is a disgrace when you look at Primary care. However these decisions and failings are way below Government level. They are local to towns and Hospitals. The Government dishes out our taxes expecting competence but doesn't get it. It will not be corrected by Government ever, the problems are too widespread - we all have to stop worshipping the NHS and get it to perform better and not cover up failings but correct them. Observer II
I agree, but the example starts at the top and should trickle down, by a cull on management and the civil service, to remove the woke and incompetant from all our institutions, and promote on the basis of results. Believe the latest gem is an NHS form giving 10 options for gender description, and no doubt printed in 10 different languages, the mind boggles. 😠
Confused52
Can we afford the increase in unemployment!
Observer II
😄 I doubt these managers, on six figure salaries, will worry about redundancy - many of their class will be replaced soon by AI.
