Evil Sid Posted December 6, 2022 Report Share Posted December 6, 2022 never been a problem for politicians...... mind you most are now university "old boys" who pronounce yes as years.....🤭 The problem with fighting your way to the top is that there is a lot of competition an done slip and you end up plummeting to the bottom of the heap. The ability and competency to do the job are the important bits and should be the only factor taken into consideration, regardless of gender or regional accent or lack thereof in some cases. I don’t see it as discrimination, but I wouldn’t employ anyone in an important communications role where a voice impediment or a heavy accent made it difficult for others to understand.
