Observer II
With ex-professional Rugby and Soccer players lining up to threaten their respective sporting bodies with legal claims associated with possible dementia caused by years of head trauma, who's to blame ? The science has only just identified the risks, so how could anyone have known of the risk, including the various sporting authorities, so how can they be blamed ? Evil Sid
Ask "injury lawyers for you" they are probably behind some of it....🤭
Latchford Locks
It's a sad effect of professional sport , But I guess it has always been with us I mean remember those water logged old style footballs with more clout than a medicine ball, And rugby was much more a war of attrition years ago than todays high speed open game. Then there was boxing a boom sport in the1930' until 1970's. So yes surely it must have been around then.
Observer II
Sure it was around then Latch, but it wasn't scientifically or legally specified; but any would be boxer should have been able to recognise the signs (punch drunk) before taking up the gloves.
