Wirewire Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 A must win game this weekend. If we can't play good attacking (offensive for Safes!) rugby on the large open pitch with the roof shut and the pitch being near perfect, then something is definatley wrong somewhere! I'd expect us to post 40+ points against the Giants, who have been struggling of late. Quote
Gary Posted May 1, 2008 Author Report Posted May 1, 2008 Think it will be a lot closer than that as it is a must win game for the Giants as well! Quote
safeway56 Posted May 3, 2008 Report Posted May 3, 2008 Another testament to the standing of the club is the team being reduced to bit part players to the main event at the Millenium Weekend. Not such a sparkling return on 6 years investment at the club. Quote
Gary Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 Think that is more down to there being no "local derby" for us safeway. We are doing a lot better than Widnes and Leigh - and don;t forget Widnes made lots of investment in the past and were at one time the biggest club in the world! Quote
Latchford Locks Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Unfair comment Safe's, we can't choose our opposition, sky rule the game these days, even the team SECOND in SL were(in your words)bit part players this weekend.Critisism where it's due ok but "not"just for the sake of it Quote
Gary Posted May 5, 2008 Author Report Posted May 5, 2008 Spot on Latchy - Safes whinge when there is something to whinge about please! Quote
