asperity 894
A hard fought game in blustery conditions brought a close result in the end. Wire took a 22-12 lead into half time but Toronto pulled it back to 22-22, then Ratchford kicked two penalties to give the Wire a small advantage before BMM went over near the end to restore the 10 point cushion and secure the win for Warrington. Toronto gave Wire a few scares during the game with some fast, slick passing movements that could have resulted in points but for some determined defence and poor handling at times. Wirewire 58
Should have been a comfortable victory but we made really hard work of it. Toronto played expansive rugby which was great to watch - I hope we take a leaf out of their book!!
Davy51 571
Good to see some of our former players putting up a good show. Toronto definitely didn't come to lose. I would have gone to watch Toronto against Saints this week but it is Saturday evening.
