oldest pub

The actual English Heritage listing descriptions say the same dates as Evils said for both pubs.

I always thought the Barley Mow was the oldest but I'm sure I read somewhere recently after the question was raised that it wasn't but I can't for the life of me remember where I read or found it now.

Going from the listing though I'd still say Barley Mow if we are talking actual original (part) building and not just pub name and/or new building.

Clear as mud ? :oops::lol:
