observer
Believe Dave has promised NOT to interfere with pensioners perks until after the next election, when no doubt, free bus passes, heating allowances etc will be stopped - so I guess, a good reason as any for the grumpies NOT to vote Tory, and the grumpies tend to vote. asperity
Believe Dave has a snowballs chance in hell of getting re-elected anyway. I wouldn't expect any mercy from the Millipede either.
Lt Kije
The Liberals effectively committed suicide when they went into power with the dark side, so if the Tories don't get in, it will leave the door open for Labour. The trouble with Labour is their out dated voting procedures the wrong Brother ended up leading the party.
Bazj
No Kije.... the trouble with Labour is that they spent money the country didn't have, they opened the floodgates to mass immigration and they left future generations paying off debt that they got us into whilst trying to keep buying their way back into power..... unfortunately Labour will get back in again no doubt (Unless the electorate grow a pair and vote for UKIP) and we will be back into the mire before the country has had a chance to sort itself out for the better

Lt Kije
Think you will find the Tories agreed with Labour spending the money, they actually voted in favour of it as their was no choice when the banks went to the wall, Your actually believing the Tory election propaganda. Take alook back  One thing we never had under Labour was a triple did recession.

What do you know? Here it's nothing unusual to see traders with a fistfull of money - In the UK, someone passing would be bound to snatch it and run. Here one can walk the streets in the early hours of the morning without fear and constantly looking over one's shoulders. In the UK, many people are too afraid to go outside after dark. Here people can and do leave their doors open and be safe to do so. In the UK people keep their doors and windows bolted and locked at all times for fear of theives/muderers entering and doing their evil deeds. Here there are no ugly drunken brawls and scenes of people falling about legless at night and weekends. In the UK.....Well we have all seen the pictures and read the reports. Cleopatra
and apart from the government gunmen roaming the streets of Alexandria and Suez and Cairo everything is rosy then I guess.... oh, apart from the 56 people known to have been murdered by them of course..... maybe they don't tell you on your news channels Cleo, but people are being slaughtered on your streets for protesting. The UK may have its faults, but we aint sunk that far yet!  Those are isolated cases where the demonstrations and riots are occuring, egged on by a handful of people hell bent on bringing the government down without giving it a chance to get down to sorting out and fixing the mess inherited from the mubarak regime. They have been told time and time again to go home and give the government a chance to work but instead they remain where they are, spurred on by the puppet masters who are puling their strings. If they refuse to protest peacefully instead of wreaking violence and destruction then force must be used. Had they have not been there the dead would still be alive. Away from those trouble spots life is so... maybe not roses but violets and primroses and a few khafir lilies.
Bazj
nobody is going to give a government time Cleo if the first thing they do when taking power is try to pass "god-like" laws to make them untouchable and un-moveable.... I would also take exception to the statement that 50 odd people slaughtered by their own police and security forces are isolated cases....Reggie Kray did 30 years for killing 55 less than Morsi has!
