Gary
Great news for Warrington as a town and a club. http://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/articles/12023/1/Town-to-host-rugby-World-Cup/Page1.html
safeway60
Excellent news that the HJ is to be used for this tournament along with Salford, Wigan, Leigh, St Helens and a host of others. In no way wishing to belittle the efforts having been made, the shock would have been if the HJ hadn't been used. The only reason Widnes isn't being used is because of the artificial pitch which has yet to meet with international approval. There's even a tiny stadium in Cumbria partaking with a capacity of less than three thousand. wolfie
There's even a tiny stadium in Cumbria partaking with a capacity of less than three thousand. Which for most of the matches will be ample. Full list:- Avignon, Bristol, Halifax, Huddersfield, Hull (KC Stadium and Craven Park), Leeds, Leigh, Limerick, Perpignan, Neath, Rochdale, Salford, St Helens, Warrington, Whitehaven, Wigan, Wrexham
Nick Tessla
I see that Preston Poly - sorry I mean the University of Central Lancashire is involved as well. But I thought they played proper rugby in Preston - you know (whispers) - union
