Gary
For those who don't know I am heavily involved in Warrington Town FC now and we are working hard to turn around the club's fortunes and take them towards the football league over the next five years. We need the support of the town and as many people as possible. If you are interested in getting involved and living the dream please email me or send me a pm on the forum. Many hands make light work. We already have a dedicated band of volunteers but we need as much support as possible - from just turning up and watching a match (under 11's get in free with a paying adult) distribution of posters advertising games, advertising a business on boards around the ground e.t.c. Every little helps. Our next home game is this coming Tuesday evening k.o 7.45pm against Kidsgrove. Any poster is welcome to attend and join me for a drink at the ground - the first one on me. McBain
Why not sell the existing ground for mega bucks to a property developer, relocate the ground onto some existing pitches, and use the proceeds to fund some major investments in players, coaching, facilities etc.

disgusted
Good to hear that a town the size of Warrington is at least trying to get where it should be on the sporting map. Astonishing how lowly they are in the leagues. Hope the dedication pays off Gary!
McBain
You mean the Council owns the land then Gary? Get on to that shower then and demand a massive reduction in your rent!
Gary
Town are at home tomorrow so please show your support - much better than Champions League - there is also a big screen in the bar if you want to watch both! There is a coach from the ground leaving at 11.45pm, the cost of which is ?5 return. We'd love to see you there. Rob
