harry hayes
Wate of money - should be scrapped in the present climate, possibly one of the easiest ways to save money. Having said that, in my dotage, having one would help especially if it had a built in calendarwhich would let me know which day it is, as well. Happy days
Lt Kije
I am and always will be against ID cards, I can not see the point you are trying to make the bank admitted it was an error on their part.
asperity
What makes you think I'm trying to make a point? Just linking to a newspaper article showing some beaurocratic stupidity is all. Why are you being so defensive?
LymmParent
He's not being defensive. The article says that Santander DO in fact take the ID cards and the one banker who refused to made a mistake. So it's not beaurocratic stupidity, or even a comment on the ID cards - which I think we all agree were a daft idea - it's just a banker with no brain. Not news, that! LymmParent
it's just that when LK is right, it ought to be recognised and celebrated. How can you tell? He said "the bank admitted its error" and the article said the bank admitted its error. I thought that was near enough....
