firefox video oddity

for some reason firefox will not let me see the videos on warrington worldwide. it shows videos from other sites but not this one.

 

all i get is a white screen and the sound but no video.

 

currently running the latest version of firefox and the latest version windows media player as well as the firefox plugin.

 

works fine when i access with IE.

 

any ideas about what it may be and how can i solve it or is it one of those things.

Sid, mine is ok (on the laptop) and I'm on Firefox. Perhaps it was acting up.

 

Failing that, take it back a couple of days. That might sort it.

found the problem.

 

there was an addon running called addblocker. it had downloaded with the new version and was blocking all sorts of stuff including warrington worldwide video. had to uninstall the adblocker to get the video working again.

 

did wonder why there were fewer adds on the pages now i know.

That happens with my firefox but all I do is scroll up and down and the picture appears like magic! I don't have an ad blocker as the adverts are the most important things!

i didn't have an add blocker until i downloaded the new version firefox i think i may have downloaded the add blocker as an add on without realising it. no problems now.
