wolfie
I used to think that Rugby Union was the sport of 'knock ons' and 'forward passes' but having watched todays final I have changed my mind. At least 3 tries were as a result of a clear forward pass I still can't get my head round the cup final being played in August and yet again as a supposed major spectacle for Rugby League it failed miserably. Hull were poor and Saints not much better. Union has nothing to fear

wolfie
I'm trying to create a diversion of interest from the Super Cup match last night.

Gary
Sssssshhhhhh!I had to watch the repeat at Warrington Town. 0-0. at least Warrington Town didn't lose!!! Back to the rugby league cup final - all the press reports I read were very positive saying it was a credit to the game!
wolfie
The press reports were more concerned about the spectators and the players reactions to the refs decisions. That can't be faulted but the game was crap and did nothing to sell the game to areas outside the M62 corridor, and Ray French made it worse. Eagle
The national press obviously know sod all about the game, it was the worst I have watched for a long time. Countless errors, incompetent touch judges and a ref who bottled out of carding Wellens for two blatant displays of dissent. The BBC coverage just keeps getting worse, the senile French and the Welsh whine.
