demelzadoe
Here's a quick geopolitical quiz: What country is three times the size of Texas and has more than 300 days of blazing sun a year? What country has the world's largest oil reserves resting below miles upon miles of sand? And what country is being given nuclear power, not solar, by President George W. Bush, even when the mere assumption of nuclear possession in its region has been known to provoke pre-emptive air strikes, even wars? If you answered Saudi Arabia to all of these questions, you're right. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121305642257659301.html?mod=googlenews_wsj
Mary
I agree - Mike Meyers did a great film about this called 911 - got a few awards too but did anyone in power do anything about it?? NOPE
demelzadoe
Seems like all the 911 stuff is disappearing from the net. Is there something that the US government dosn't want us to find out?
Mary
Umm lets see - the Bush family has had close personal ties to the Saudi's for many years?
demelzadoe
So do I take it that 911 WAS and inside job?
asperity
You said it!
demelzadoe
911: In Plane Site - The Directors Cut - http://video.google.com.au/videoplay?docid=-5386487651203625811&q=in+++plane+sight&ei=BS1TSPS9DZOAwgPKzpToDQ&hl=en It's long, but worth looking at the whole lot. Mary
We will never know the whole truth but we do know parts of it - unfortunately this leads to speculation. Speculation leads to conspiracy theories - so who really knows except those totally involved.
Jerry
Mary, you reminded me of an old court room dialog: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? (Answer) I can tell what I know, but only God knows the whole truth about ANYTHING! Actually, I'm pretty sure it wasn't a conspiracy -- because the Pentagon was targeted and actually HIT, so it was our enemies, not our corrupt leaders. It was actually 15 Saudis -- I take that as pretty true since they talk the talk.
demelzadoe
Not sure of your reasoning on this, but what I have always found odd is that there has been personal stories from those who lost family members in the twin towers, but I have never heard of any who have lost family who were travelling in the two passenger planes supposedly hijacked from Boston airport. I was particularly interested in those passengers since I was a frequent traveller flying American Airlines in and out of Boston airport at that time. Anyway, I'm still going through this interesting site I've stumbled on:- Scroll down page and check out all the evidence that points to an inside job. http://www.prisonplanet.com/911.html
asperity
There are too many inconsistencies in the official reports into what happened that day to make it anything but suspicious. The way the twin towers collapsed at free-fall speed leaving none of the internal vertical girders standing points to a demolition job. The part of the Pentagon that was struck was, conveniently, empty (lucky that!). The passenger numbers on the hijacked planes don't add up. Too many questions with no satisfactory answers. Mary
Which is why I say - we do not really know anything - and probably will never really know the whole truth!!
Jonathan Levy
I personally have never been able to believe, and never will be able to believe that any of the conspiracies to do with 9 / 11. I just don't believe that Bush and his Government would ever go along with something as extreme as that.
observer
Well here's a conspicacy theory for you: a young lad enters politics on the basis that he can earn more than he would as a jounalist!
Jonathan Levy
Haha Well that most definately won't be the case with me. I wish to enter Politics as I am so interested in it and very much wish to make a positive difference. I wish to become a Journalist for the reason that I am very much interested in news and current affairs etc and enjoy writing.
observer
Perhaps you'll be moving a motion in Parliament for an MPs pay cut, in the National Interest, so as to set an example to workers to accept below inflation rises?!

observer
Watched Wavy Davy on TV tonight, encouraging Gordon to keep "the workers" in their place, seems underneath they are still the nasty Party!
Jonathan Levy
Perhaps you'll be moving a motion in Parliament for an MPs pay cut, in the National Interest, so as to set an example to workers to accept below inflation rises?! Well I do feel that MPs are paid too much.
Jonathan Levy
Watched Wavy Davy on TV tonight, encouraging Gordon to keep "the workers" in their place, seems underneath they are still the nasty Party! I fully agree with Cameron on this matter. Brown needs to do what he has so far largely failed to do in his terrible first year as PM and show strong leadership. observer
Strong leadership? Keeping the peasants in their place, while the politicians and their fellow travellers are having a beano - more like hypocracy. And just for interest; there is no direct correlation between inflation and public sector pay increases; current inflation stems from global economic factors and the spivs in the City of London betting on futures. Jonathan Levy
Well I don't do that Gordon will eventually bow down and come to some agreement with the workers although I agree with Cameron that he should keep the workers in their place.
observer
Thanks Jon; that's a good enough reason for most workers not to vote for you; cos you evidently want to keep them "in their place"!
P J
I am a worker. Could you tell me where exactly my place is.
Jonathan Levy
I would very much talk to the workers etc and try to come to some agreement however I would not entirely bow down to their demands if I and the party didn't fully agree with them. However, I would most definately talk with the workers.
