Gary
If Warrington can repeat the first 40 minutes of the opening game against Leeds each week - Wire won't be far off making it their year at long last! Evil Sid
interesting game, warrington played as a team rather than as bunch of kids in the playground.which seemed to be their tactics or lack thereof last season.. even the commentators had a good word for them for a change. good discipline meant very few incidents, only two that i remember which seemed to be handbags at thirty paces level and very quickly sorted by the ref. if they can keep the teamwork, discipline and fitness levels going then they should be up in the top three at least. even i might believe......🤫
Wirewire
It was a very dominant performance and the showed true grit and professionalism throughout. The middle unit were fantastic and set the tone of the match, and what a great thing of beauty that was. Leeds fed of the scraps we left them, and it reminded me very much of how we played last year, with the backs always on the back foot. Also worthy of a mention - I thought Bullock had his best game by far in a Warrington shirt - he's really come on this season. Early days, but I do have a good feel about this season.
Gary
So far - so good - three out of three (but so was last year) but convincing performances and a good comeback to show strength of charcater - could it be our year at ong last!!? Evil Sid
makes a change to see them coming from behind, last year they tended to either give up or try as individuals rather than as a team usually resulting in a bigger defeat. Gary
Five from five and still top of the league! It most definitely could be our year!
Gary
Well it sadly all went wrong again - club appears to be in a right mess! Not convinced Sam Burgess is the answer - but what do I know?
Evil Sid
seems to be the norm now. a cracking start and halfway through the wheels fall off. makes you wonder what has changed since the start of the season. over confidence perhaps or complacency?
