boris1066
Commission is proposing to control the speed on European roads by linking GPS/vehicle controls to reduce death statistics. What's the chances of this happening ?
Bazj
none whatsoever.... they tried last year to ban modified cars; the wording of their documents made it that even new tyres could make a car illegal if they weren't the same as those fitted when it was new... They have nothing better to do with our billions except to interfere
Davy51
I should imagine it is very possible to regulate a vehicle by electronic remote control but every vehicle in the land would have to be fitted with the system at the same time otherwise it would be more of a danger than a help. I should think the idea would be excellent for regulating traffic speed in fog or other bad weather conditions but on the other hand all traffic moving at the same speed can cause other problems.
