wolfie
I think I saw what was probably the best goal of the season if not of the decade last night. Not sure if Cisse (Newcastle) meant it or not, but the Chelsea goalkeeper could only stand by and watch.
Eagle
I can't disagree with that,a repeat on Sunday would be even better.
Gary
You obviously didn't see Owen Robert's free kick goal for Warrington Town against Woodley Sports!
WireWarrior97
You can tell that Cissé knew what he was doing, he wouldn't have hit it whilst he was pointing straight forwards in that position if he didn't. He had to get the contact with the outside of his foot perfect, or it would have been blasted into the fans or scuffed to a defender. Bit of luck involved as well though, but that can take nothing from him. Just one of those insane goals like Carlos's against France, perfect curve like that is one-in-a-million. Peter Crouches against City was just phenomenal. Suarez's 40-yarder was good, but just as good as any 40 yard pass from Cabaye, Modric, Scholes etc. Cabayes free-kick was inch-perfect top corner, I don't want to take it away from him but he did have the assistance of the wind with that one. Kyle Walkers free-kick comes just behind these. Anyway, my goal of the season is probably Jonny Howsons tap-in for Norwich against Everton
wolfie
Seems that Wayne Rooney's overhead kick against City has been voted the best Premiership goal of the last 20 years. I wonder if the vote was taken before Cisse's goal
WireWarrior97
Rooneys goal probably shouldn't have been in the top 5 with other goals on that list. Di Canio, Cantona, Beckham, Bergkamp, Le Tissier and Henry should have been ahead of him with their goals which were nominated.
