algy
Starlings This was video'd on the River Shannon last month. Wow, aint nature wonderful? Amazing Asp, there is only so much that we can guess about the reason for such 'happenings', I have read theory's that say they rotate to keep warm others say that it is to confuse/avoid predator birds, but will we ever know for certain?. Dizzy
WOW what and absolutely amazing sight The girl must have a very steady hand and nerves of steel as I'd have freaked out and fallen out of my canoe
Peter T
A regular occurrence on the Somerset levels. Fascinating to watch. Just imagine the fun Hitchcock could have had using that in "The Birds".
Rex Mac
I remember driving back from Essex a good few years back and seeing a similar event, (although slightly less spectacular.) I just had to pull into a layby and watch, it brought a few minutes of joy and lifted my spirits for the remainder of the drive home.
