observer
Savers, Pensioners, Benefit claimants, Consumers, Public service workers etc - basically, the poorest will be paying the biggest proportion of their incomes or losing their jobs. And for the 2million or so youngsters on the dole, who can't get a job cos folk are retiring later or the Poles have got them; there's the big society - do the job of some public sector worker for nowt. Meanwhile, MPs still have their gold plated pensions and the bankers have their bonuses. Funny old world innit?!
Peter T
This slippery slope has been going on for decades. TOO many vote conscious politicians to care about the real world.
